NEW DELHI: Indian males’s hockey workforce is leaving no stone unturned of their arrangements for the impending FIH males’s World Cup as they’re going to go through a week-long specialised camp to hone their objective scoring in addition to objective saving abilities from Wednesday on the Sai Center in Bengaluru.
The camp, which can conclude on December 20, will goal to strengthen dragflick and goalkeeping abilities beneath the watchful eyes of double Olympic champion from Netherlands Bram Lomans and Dennis Van De Pol,
While Lomans will paintings with the Indian dragflickers, his countryman Van De Pol will fine-tune the goalkeepers forward of the match to be held in Bhubaneswar and Rourkela from January 13 to 29.
The specialised camp will probably be part of the two-week lengthy nationwide training camp, which began on Monday.
“We are grateful to Hockey India and SAI for organizing this special dragflick and goalkeeping camp ahead of the World Cup. This is a great opportunity to get world class specialized coaching and it will certainly help provide the right tools and strategies for our dragflickers and goalies,” Indian leader trainer Graham Reid mentioned in a unencumber.
“This is going to be an important camp for us. There are a few critical aspects of our game that need some improvement on the basis of the assessment of the Australia tour.
“The avid gamers got one week’s spoil after getting back from Adelaide and I consider they’re going to be bodily and mentally recent after they report back to the camp,” added Reid.
India will leave on December 27 for Rourkela, where they will begin their World Cup campaign against England on January 13.
