HSC Results 2026: Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Reschedules Publication for October 31

Dhaka, October 27: The results of this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will be published on October 31, two days later than the previously announced date, according to the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee.
Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, chairman of the committee and the Dhaka Education Board, confirmed the revised schedule on Tuesday.
An official notice issued on October 24 had initially set October 29 as the result publication date. Authorities were also expected to release a separate notice on October 26 outlining the publication schedule, procedures and ways for students to access their results. However, the anticipated notice was not issued, raising questions about the timeline.
A source at the Ministry of Education said the date had been revised due to unavoidable circumstances. According to the source, a press conference is scheduled to take place on October 31 at the International Mother Language Institute in Segunbagicha, Dhaka.
The authorities have yet to announce the exact time of publication or provide official instructions on how students will be able to check their results.
A total of 1,270,583 students from 9,439 educational institutions took part in this year’s HSC and equivalent examinations under 11 education boards across Bangladesh.
