The roundtable discussion included participants from five Indian communities: healthcare, mental health, digital literacy, education and women empowerment. WhatsApp says that these participants highlighted how the Communities feature is facilitating efficient and more impactful conversations.
The Meta-owned instant messaging platform says that it has been working with 10 organizations as part of WhatsApp’s Community Builders Program, which is offered to only 50 communities globally. These organizations are helping WhatsApp in making Communities better by providing real-time feedback. WhatsApp also says that it will continue to add features “over the approaching months.”
