Chandigarh, Aug 9 (PTI) Textile corporate Trident’s founder and chairman Rajendra Gupta will step down as director and non-executive chairman of the corporate because of well being causes and circle of relatives commitments. He has expressed his need to step down. In a commentary on Tuesday, Trident stated that honoring the request gained from Gupta, the board of administrators preferred his contribution to the corporate. Expressing his need to step down, Gupta stated, “After serving more than three decades at Trident, I requested the Board of Directors to allow me to step down.
In a statement on Tuesday, Trident said that honoring the request received from Gupta, the board of directors appreciated his contribution to the company.
Expressing his desire to step down, Gupta said, “After serving greater than 3 a long time at Trident, I asked the board of administrators to permit me to step down and reinforce my well being to be a concern. Do….”
“I’m hopeful that I will serve the corporate once more after getting better bodily and emotionally,” he said.
Based on the recommendations of the Selection and Reward Committee, the Board of Directors has appointed Gupta as the Honorary Chairman of the Company with effect from August 9.
