New Delhi, Aug 8 (PTI) The nation’s biggest telecom corporate Jio has finished its arrangements to release 5G services and products in about 1,000 towns and examined its indigenously evolved 5G telecom apparatus. Reliance Jio has emerged as the biggest bidder within the not too long ago concluded 5G spectrum public sale. Jio by myself had bids price Rs 88,078 crore out of the Rs 1.50 lakh crore bid within the public sale.
According to the file of RIL, “Jio’s plan to provide 5G services in 1,000 cities of the country has been completed. In the meantime, targeted consumer consumption and revenue potential were based on the use of heat maps, 3D maps and ray-tracing technology.
The company said that Jio has also done ground-level testing of services related to 5G technology. Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Cloud Gaming, TV Streaming, Affiliated Hospitals and Industrial Use were tested during this period.
The Department of Telecom says that with the introduction of services based on 5G spectrum, downloads will be 10 times faster than 4G and the efficiency of spectrum will also increase by about three times.
