Mumbai, Aug 7 (PTI) Vehicle generation company Sona Comstar expects the earnings percentage of the electrical car (EV) phase in its industry to develop to with reference to 50 in step with cent through FY2026-27. Vivek Vikram Singh, Managing Director and Group CEO, Sona Comstar mentioned that the orders for EVs are very robust. The earnings percentage of the corporate’s EV phase rose to 29 in step with cent within the June quarter, from simply two in step with cent in 2014-15, he mentioned. Singh mentioned in a dialog with PTI-language, “The EV segment accounts for 66 percent of our total order book.
Vivek Vikram Singh, Managing Director and Group CEO, Sona Comstar said that the orders for EVs are very strong. The revenue share of the company’s EV segment rose to 29 per cent in the June quarter, from just two per cent in 2014-15, he said.
Speaking to PTI, Singh said, “66 in step with cent of our general order e book belongs to the EV phase. So it (EV phase earnings) will have to without a doubt be 45 in step with cent of the whole earnings within the subsequent three-four years.”
Singh further said that the revenue share of the EV segment will be higher if the electric two-wheeler segment starts in India. “We should wait and spot,” Singh said. If our order book grows, this share can reach 45-50 per cent by FY 2026-27.
The company earlier this week declared profit after tax of Rs 75.80 crore, up five per cent year-on-year.
